Using symbolism linked to the Orisha Oshun DIGITAL VEIL DEALS DIRECTLY WITH THE CONVERSATION SURROUNDING THE BLACK FEMALE BODY, JUXTAPOSED WITH THE CANON ART HISTORY. Based off of François Boucher's painting of Mary Louise O'Murphy Digital Veil places the body of a black woman in a similar position while removing any indication of her color.

This piece includes notes from my journal(failed attempts at poem writing), highlighting the writing process in my practice.
